Stuart Maconie, The Ramblers President has a further article in this issue on his love of walking around islands. ‘Walking right around an island is a joy’ he says, ‘But choosing the right size island can be even more so…’. Clearly he enjoyed his walking experience on Herm and with its stunning beaches, puffin colony, neolithic history and more there is no wonder why.
