Bewl Water is a beautiful reservoir located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the borders of Kent and East Sussex. Covering around 800 acres, it’s the largest stretch of open water in the southeast of England.

Access restrictions Self-launch with permit purchased from Bewl Water Fishing Lodge on the lake’s north shore next door to PTP Coaching/or book a day pass online using the Bewl Water website. Buoyancy aid and insurance required, included in PaddleUK membership.

Getting there A21 S of Royal Tunbridge Wells past Lamberhurst following brown signs for Bewl Water.  Just beyond the Scotney Castle Roundabout turn R into Bewl Water Estate.
