An explorer's guide to the islands of Britain

The idyllic Isles of Scilly lie 28 miles west of Lands End. There are five inhabited islands offering stunning beaches, lush sub-tropical gardens, an abundance of wildlife, sumptuous local food & oodles of history.

St Mary’s, Bryher, St Martins, St Agnes and Tresco each have incredible coastal paths & Gugh & Samson offer glorious wild walking routes.

There are some great events on the Isles too. Walk from Tresco to Bryher on a low tide event, sing sea shanties at the World Pilot Gig Championship, swim with seals, spot hundreds of dolphins, attend one of the lively music, food or drink festivals or join one of the endurance swim or run challenges. There truly is something here for every islandeer
