How many of the 6,000 islands that surround the British Isles could you walk, run, bike, swim or kayak around in a lifetime? I’ve decided to find out, and have completed over 220 islands so far. I’ve coined the term ‘islandeering’ to describe travelling around an island’s outer edge and finding the adventure on the way but I also explore the best each island has to offer – swims, wild camps, extraordinary wildlife, challenges, walks and high points. Now I’m sharing my routes and experiences so others can follow, exchange stories and, just maybe, feel inspired to take up the challenge
