Best walks in Jersey

There are two main valleys in this area, with a stream running through the centre of each and a large meadow in the centre surrounded by a deciduous, fern-covered woodland. It makes for a wonderful and easy inland walk on the island at any time of the year. There is an abundance of wildflowers which in the summer attract all sorts of insects including the day-flying Jersey tiger moth and the golden-ringed dragonfly. Red squirrels can be spotted here, along with Great Spotted Woodpeckers, and kestrels. https://www.nationaltrust.je/project/fern-valley-2/
